New Trail from Kearns Market
In 2018, Scout Alex Jenne lead a large group of volunteers in a project to add a new trail to the Nature Park. Alex’s trail leads up the south hill from the sidewalk on Webster Road to the cliff above the Quarry. Alex topped off his project with a professional-looking sign that identifies the park from Webster Road.

EAGLE  & GIRL SCOUT PROJECTS
Support your community and earn your merit badges. FOGNAP is proud to support Eagle and Girl Scout projects
in the park. Work with your local scout leader and contact us for possible ideas that benefit the park. Trail-building, interpretive signage, and benches are just three possible projects to consider. Contact us with your ideas and we'll
be happy to advise.

Two Brothers – Two Scout Projects
In Spring 2017, under the guidance of FOGNAP, Boy Scouts Matt and Benjamin Fergus brought in two large work parties to the park to clear blackberries and enhance trails. They worked on the south side of the park near Kearns Market in an area where there is foot traffic and sometimes debris.

Later in Summer 2017, Scout Damien Foster lead another group in clearing a large area of blackberries. The work they accomplished in the park is within sight of his church so his family can appreciate it every time they attend services.
